Danbury Firefighters Battle Early Morning Truck Blaze
The Danbury Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause of an early morning truck fire.
DANBURY, CT — Firefighters extinguished a truck fire early Friday morning.
A Danbury police officer alerted the Danbury Fire Department after noticing black smoke in the area of Old Newtown Road, and locating a box truck on fire.
The vehicle was ablaze with other trucks parked nearby, according to a Facebook post by Danbury firefighters.

Fire crews arrived within minutes of the call were able to get fire under control before there was any damage to the other trucks. No injuries were reported.
The fire is under investigation by the Danbury Fire Marshal's Office.
