Danbury Firefighters Tackle Car Burning On I-84
First responders to the scene near Exit 4 found the vehicle ablaze, and the driver uninjured.
DANBURY, CT — Firefighters tackled a burning car on Interstate 84 on Saturday.
The Danbury Fire Department received a report of the fire at 8:40 in the morning. First responders to the scene near Exit 4 found the vehicle ablaze, and the driver uninjured.
Firefighters were quickly able to extinguish the car fire, according to fire officials. With the assistance of state police from Troop A, the highways was able to be kept open, albeit with reduced speeds.
