According to CT Voters for Gun Safety Chairman, Ron Pinciaro, “We will stand with, and work with, General Assembly incumbents who have stood with us, and voted with us in the past, and new candidates who plan to stand and vote with us, demonstrating a commitment to keeping Connecticut’s strong gun laws in place.”

This endorsement buttresses Mr. Hall’s position as a candidate who will work to strengthen his district and state. In addition to regulation of firearms, Mr. Hall also supports increasing the minimum wage, improving access to health care, and strong schools.

“I am very grateful to CT Voters for Gun Safety for its endorsement. Connecticut voters support the bi-partisan gun law that was passed in April 2013 by a large margin. Connecticut has the second toughest gun laws in the nation and, not coincidentally, the fourth lowest rate of gun homicides, according to the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence, Ct. Chapter. Strong gun laws mean safer homes, safer schools and safer neighborhoods. If elected, I promise I will never support any effort to weaken Connecticut’s gun laws, “ stated candidate Hall.
