Danbury College Student Dies After Suffering 'Medical Emergency'
Jordan Robinson, 20, a student at Pace University, suffered a 'medical emergency' while at Pace University in New York.

DANBURY, CT — A 20-year-old Danbury man died Sunday following what authorities are calling a "medical emergency."
Jordan Robinson, 20, was a student at Pace University.
Robinson's death in under investigation by the Mount Pleasant Police Department, according to the University. Cause of death is pending the report from the Medical Examiner's Office.

Mount Pleasant Police and EMT responded to a medical emergency on campus, and he was taken to the hospital, where he later died, officials said.
Robinson was an aspiring designer and entrepreneur, and a member of the Black Student Union, Students of Caribbean Awareness, and Alpha Phi Alpha, among other student organizations,

The university has planned a vigil for Wednesday evening in the Gottesman Room of the Kessel Student Center on the Pleasantville, NY campus.
"Jordan’s death is devastating and he will be deeply missed," university officials said in a statement. "Please join us in extending all our most heartfelt sympathies and condolences to Jordan’s family and friends during this extraordinarily difficult time."
A viewing is scheduled at New Hope Baptist Church on Dr. Aaron B. Samuels Boulevard in Danbury from 6-8 p.m. on Feb. 21. A second viewing will be held from 11 a.m. to noon on Feb. 22, followed immediately by the funeral.
