Danbury I-84 Truck Fire Extinguished
The highway was briefly closed Friday morning as firefighters battled the blaze.
DANBURY, CT — I-84 westbound has been reopened following a tractor trailer fire Friday morning. The westbound side was briefly shut down as firefighters extinguished the blaze.
Danbury firefighters were sent to the scene around 10:40 a.m. The driver was able to disconnect the trailer, which saved the cargo.
The blaze was quickly extinguished, Danbury fire officials said on Facebook.
