Mayor Mark Boughton to Receive Small Business Advocate Award
The award will be presented by Partner America at Danbury City Hall on Tuesday, March 22, 2016.

DANBURY, CT-- Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton will receive the U.S. Conference of Mayors, Partner America 2016 “Small Business Advocate Award” for his support of small business in the city, according to a release.
This award will be presented on Tuesday, March 22 at a Small Business Day event at Danbury City Hall. The award is being given to Boughton by Partner America, a partnership created by The US Conference of Mayors to help mayors provide resources and information to help small businesses thrive.

"Mayors across the country are investing in the future by helping small businesses to grow and create jobs. Mayor Boughton is a leader in this arena, and his tireless work to expand job opportunities and revitalize Danbury through small business development are to be applauded. We are honored to bestow him with this award," said Tom Cochran, CEO and Executive Director of the U.S. Conference of Mayors.
The free event will be held at Danbury City Hall in the Council Chambers on March 22 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. All small business owners are encouraged to attend. Light refreshments will be served.

The keynote speaker is Lou Mosca, Executive Vice President and COO, American Management Services.
