An obituary from Edward Lawrence Funeral Home:
Patricia Mary Horton was born to Sidney and Mary Leahy Jennings on March 13, 1923 in New York, NY. She passed peacefully in the loving arms and in the home of her daughter, on New Year’s Eve morning, Dec. 31, 2014 at the age of 91.
Pat’s love for family always came first, expressed through her generous heart, gentle soul, positive spirit, keen sense of humor and her constant desire to give. Whether she was making lunch for the kids in the neighborhood or preparing delicious meals for visiting family and friends, there was no end to her generosity.
Pat’s loving smile and easy nature always made her a comfort to those around her. Her love of sports as a young girl stayed with her as she enjoyed watching her grandchildren’s sporting events. She was also an avid walker, reader, card player and lover of animals.
