The former owner of Powder Ridge Ski Area has filed a lawsuit against Middlefield Holdings LLC.

The lawsuit, filed Monday in Middlefield Superior Court, names Kenneth R. Leavitt, White Water Mountain Resorts of Connecticut, Inc. and Green Forty LLC as plaintiffs in the case.

Attorney Glenn T. Terk, of Wethersfield, is representing Leavitt, but could not be reached for comment Tuesday morning.

Several previous lawsuits filed by Leavitt against the Town of Middlefield have been dismissed.

In March, Alpine Ridge LLC agreed to buy Powder Ridge for $1 million from the town. A closing date has not been set, but is expected before August 1.
