Sticking Close To Home In Killingworth

Mom's first drink is on the house at the Sunday Brunch at in Killingworth. Brunch, which runs from noon until 3pm, will feature prime rib and a glazed ham. A buffet will offer stuffed sole with seafood stuffing, butternut squash, vegetarian lasagna, rice pilaf and vegetable medley, and Mandarin salad for $15 per person.  A "regular" breakfast/brunch will also be served, including an omelette caserole, French toast, Belgium waffles, home fries, bacon, sausage and corned beef hash.

Heading Out Of Town To Madison

Toast the honoree at a Mother's Day High Tea at in Madison where you'll find tiered trays of finger sandwiches and pastries and enjoy different teas, along with scones and quiches. Saturday and Sunday at 2pm. Reservations required. $30 per person.

In fact, the best day of the year in terms of busyness just may be this holiday (but don't worry, the restaurant will have lots of extra staff on hand to make sure the experience is enjoyable).
