Wednesday, April 4

Police are investigating the theft of a go cart at 1 Jackson Hill Road, Middlefield. According to a report, the go cart was stolen occurred in the early morning hours, possibly around 1 a.m. A possible suspect vehicle is an SUV that was seen several times in the area around the time of the larceny. The go cart was self fabricated and orange in color, and has a 9 horsepower Tecumesh motor HMSK 100). Anyone with information is asked to contact Trooper Weber at 860-399-2100.

Thursday, April 12

Herbert Given, 51, of Wilcox Lane, Durham, turned himself in on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear. According to court records, Given was arrested in April 2011 for improper use of license plates, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle without proper insurance and failure to obey a stop sign.

Saturday, April 14

Eric John Molyneux, 34, of Creamery Road, Durham, was arrested and charged with third degree assuault and disorderly conduct. Molyneux is accused of pushing his wife, who sustained minor injuries, according to a report. The incident happened at approximately 2:53 a.m.

Sunday, April 15

Ian P. Aivano, 24, of Cherry Street, Durham, turned himself in on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear. According to court records, Aivano was arrested in January for operating a motor vehicle on a suspended license, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, traveling too fast for conditions and distracted driving.

Wednesday, April 18

Police are investigating the theft of a dirt bike from 12 Chicopee Road, Middlefield. The dirt bike was described as a red/white 2006 Honda CRF 50 stolen out of the back of a pick up truck overnight.
