East Haven GOP to Elect New Town Committee Jan. 10

It's political caucus time across the state. And later this week East Haven Republicans will meet to select the membership of their new local town committee.

The East Haven Republican Town Committee will hold its caucus this Friday, Jan. 10, beginning at 7 p.m., at the Senior Center.

At the caucus, all registered Republicans in East Haven will have the opportunity to cast their ballot to nominate and then vote to determine who will make up the membership of their town committee's new board.

New members will each serve a two-year term.

Town committee officers for 2014-16 will then be elected at a later time from members of the new local board.
