Car Destroyed in Parking Lot Fire: Video

A car caught fire Thursday afternoon in the parking lot adjacent to the Enfield Food Shelf on Alden Avenue, a spokesman for the town’s fire departments said.

Thompsonville firefighters responded to the blaze around 2:30 p.m., and had it under control very quickly, according to public information officer Mark Zarcaro.

The vehicle was described as “an old Chevy that is probably done for,” according to Zarcaro.

No injuries were reported.
