Suspicious Odor Prompts Brief Enfield High School Evacuation
The building was evacuated, then students and teachers were sback inside when it was deemed safe to return, school officials said.

ENFIELD, CT — A suspected gas leak prompted a brief evacuation of Enfield High School Monday morning as emergency services personnel responded to a report of a "suspicious odor."
As parts of the building were cleared, students, faculty and staff were sent to the gymnasium or auditorium. All parts of the building were cleared shortly thereafter, according to information provided by school officials on the townwide emergency notification system.
