From McKinley School.
Seventy members of McKinley School participated in the town Relay for Life held at Ludlowe High School in an effort to remember a former school and team member.
The McKinley Dolphin Team was comprised of McKinley Student Council members, other McKinley students, alumni, parents and staff members who pariticpated in the June 7 benefit.
The team dedicated this year’s relay in memory of Bruce Harrington, a former McKinley parent and Dolphin Team member, who lost his fight in battling cancer last summer.
The team banded together to raise $15,100.33 through numerous fundraisers to put them in first place out of 152 teams that participated at the Relay event. The team captain, Maureen Bonenfant, would like to thank all of the McKinley students, staff and parents for helping the team in our fight against cancer.
