A Newtown man was charged Wednesday in connection to two Fairfield burglaries reported in October.

Eammon Donnelly, 30, turned himself in at police headquarters after learning of a warrant for his arrest, police said.

Donnelly was charged with conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary and attempted third-degree burglary for an attempted break-in reported on Redding Road on Oct. 15, police said.

He was also charged with third-degree burglary, third-degree larceny, and conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny for his suspected involvement in the theft of jewelry from a Stella Lane home on Oct. 15, according to the arrest report.

Donnelly was held in lieu of a $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 21.

Another suspect, Conner Buckley of Shelton, was arrested in connection to these burglaries on Nov. 30.
