Small Business Preparedness -- a Small Business Strategies Program at the Fairfield Public Library

Learn how to protect a small business from disasters of all kinds with Robert Hotaling. December 8, 7:00 pm

Join us for an informative, business-critical presentation that will give business owners the ability to significantly reduce their risk of loss. Find out what any business must do to protect itself against disasters of all kinds. This approach can be thought of as “PAD-ding” your business – protecting the three key loss risks encountered in a disaster: People, Assets, and Data. Presenter Robert Hotaling will highlight a four-step process small businesses can use to have an equal shot at disaster preparedness as large-budget enterprises. This process focuses solely on simplifying and automating the most critical elements. This Small Business Strategies program will take place on Monday, December 8 at 7:00 pm in the Rotary Room at the Main Library. Registration is requested.

This workshop uses concepts and strategies endorsed by the Connecticut Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and is sponsored by the US Small Business Administration.

Robert Hotaling has been at the forefront of business protection services for years. His experience includes working as a financial systems architect for the hedge fund Paloma Partners in Greenwich, CT and as a senior consultant for Control Group, New York, NY.

These talks are part of the Small Business Strategies series for current and prospective entrepreneurs, presented through a partnership with the Greater Bridgeport Chapter of SCORE, a non-profit dedicated to helping small businesses succeed through education and mentorship.
