Farmington Police Blotter: January 16-17, 2014
The Farmington Police Department provided the following information and it does not indicate convictions.
Marc A. Cannon, 39, of 175 Grandview Ave., Bridgeport, was charged with credit card theft, third-degree larceny, illegal use of a credit card, receiving goods obtained illegally and third-degree identity theft on Jan. 17 at 8:30 a.m. Police arrested him on a warrant while he was being held in lock-up for another case at Hartford Superior Court. He was held on a $30,000 surety bond and appeared in court that day.
Benjamin Elijah Washington, 31, of 43 Briarwood Dr., Barkhamsted, was charged with evading responsibility after a motor vehicle accident and cited with a first offense of talking on his phone while driving, distracted driving and failure to drive in the proper lane. He was released on a $2,500 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 4.
Operation While Under the Influence
Susanne D. Mcnamara, 72, of 31 Girard Ave., Farmington, was charged with operation while under the influence and cited with making a restricted turn on Jan. 16 at 6:49 p.m. Police released her on a $1,500 non-surety bond and she is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 29.
William Francis Johnson, 27, of 131 Wellman Rd., Manchester, was charged with two counts of third-degree identity theft, second-degree forgery, conspiracy to commit second-degree larceny and two counts of criminal attempt to commit fifth-degree larceny on Jan. 16 at 11:45 a.m. Manchester police took him into custody on Farmington's arrest warrant and transported him to the Farmington Police Department for booking. He was held on a $25,000 surety bond and was scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 17.
