Juan Carlos Garcia Perez, 28, of 70 Fremon St., Bridgeport, was arrested Dec. 18 on Farmington Avenue and charged with operating under suspension and operating under the influence. He was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear Dec. 26.
Jennifer Lynn Bonaparte, 35, of 27 Burton St., Hartford, was arrested Dec. 17 by warrant after being accused of shoplifting at Westfarms mall. According to police, Bonaparte, was shoplifting at Lord & Taylor and gave police another person’s name to avoid being arrested on an outstanding warrant for her. She was charged with criminal impersonation, interfering with an officer, sixth-degree larceny and possession of a shoplifting device. For those charges, she was held on $10,000 surety bond. She was then charged with violation of probation and held on $50,000 surety bond. The violation of probation relates to a second-degree forgery arrest in September 2010.
Zaida Esther Soria, 33, 62 Madison St., Hartford, was arrested Dec. 18 at Westfarms mall and charged with criminal impersonation, interfering with an officer and sixth-degree larceny. According to police, Soria was caught shoplifting at JC Penney and gave officers her sister’s name and identification after being arrested. She was also arrested on an active warrant out of Hartford and charged with violation of probation. She was released on $912.84 cash bond and scheduled to appear Jan. 2.
Michael John Dunning, 44, of 20 Berkshire Drive, Farmington, was arrested Dec. 18 on a warrant held by Farmington Police after he came into the station to file a complaint about an unrelated subject. Dunning was charged with first-degree criminal trespassing and released on $2,500 non-surety bond. He was scheduled to appear Jan. 2. Dunning has previous convictions with jail time for threatening, third-degree assault on an elderly person or other, violations of a protective order and possession of narcotics.
