36 Graduate Greenwich Police Women's Self-Defense Class
The women participated in the five-week program that's offered twice a year for Greenwich residents.

Thirty six Greenwich women have graduated from the Greenwich Police Department’s Fall 2014 Women’s Self Defense Class.
The women, who ranged in age from 18- to 55-years old, completed the five-week program that was conducted by highly-trained and experienced Greenwich Police officers.
The graduates learned both physical and psychological techniques to overcome aggressors with the program’s emphasis on situational awareness and avoidance. The program’s goal is to bolster the participants’ self-confidence should they become involved in a self-defense situation.
