Arguments Lead to 2 Separate Arrests

Two men were arrested for separate incidents following arguments involving former girlfriends in Greenwich.

According to police reports, Antonio Rosario-Acosta, 30, of the Bronx, NY, was arrested about 7:30 a.m. Nov. 17 after he argued with a former girlfriend while trying to visit his young daughter. He's accused of throwing an unopened can of beer at a wall of the room where the woman's four children—ages 2 to 8—were sleeping. Rosario-Acosta was charged with disorderly conduct and four counts of risk of injury to a minor.

He was held in lieu of $1,000 bond and scheduled to appear Nov. 19 in state Superior Court in Stamford.

The second incident involved a central Greenwich woman calling police to report a man was trying to break into her home. Police say they found Keith V. Barts, 35, of 133 Myano Ln., Stamford, at the home and two children crying.

According to a police report, Barts was accused of destroying a video game causing a commotion that was heard by a neighbor. He was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, three counts of risk of injury to a minor and four counts of disorderly conduct. He was held in lieu of $10,000 bond and scheduled to appear Nov. 19 in the Family Violence Court of state Superior Court in Stamford.
