Arguments Lead to Arrests

 

An argument between neighbors at the Wilbur Peck apartment complex ended Tuesday with the arrests of the two women who Greenwich Police say were involved.

When police arrived about 6:20 p.m. Feb. 12, they found two women striking one another in the face, according a police report. Thonda Y. Rogers, 41, of 81 Wilbur Peck Court, and Vanessa Starr Jackson, 53, of 87 Wilbur Peck Court, each were charged with third-degree assault and breach of peace. They were released on written promises to appear Feb. 20 in state Superior Court in Stamford.

The nature of the dispute was not included in the report.

A 15-year-old Greenwich boy was arrested for disorderly conduct following a domestic violence incident against his mother.

According to a Greenwich Police report, the son was screaming at his  mother, broke a vase and ripped bedding from her bed during the incident that was reported about 9:20 p.m., Feb. 11. The teen had previously been counseled by detectives about his behavior towards his mother, according to the report.

The teen was released on a promise to appear Feb. 26 in the Juvenile Matters Division of state Superior Court in Stamford.

A fight at Greenwich High School last week ended with the arrest of a 14-year-old girl.

According to a Greenwich Police report, the student was issued a misdemeanor summons after an investigation of the Feb. 7 incident which was witnessed by several students. The girl was released on a promise to appear Feb. 26 in the Juvenile Matters Division of state Superior Court in Stamford.
