Balducci's Unveils New Store in Riverside

Specialty food retailer, Balducci’s Food Lover’s Market, celebrated the grand reopening of its Greenwich location on Friday, Dec. 5 and unveiled its new fine wine and spirits store.

Newly enhanced departments will continue to offer foodies an assortment of hand-selected gourmet items. The store now offers a more robust selection of executive chef prepared foods and have introduced a new mezze and olive bar. In addition, Balducci’s offers a selection of gourmet cheeses including locally sourced favorites such as Cato Corner Farmstead Cheeses, from Colchester, and an extensive selection of meat.

At the ribbon cutting, the gourmet market opened its doors to a new fine wine and spirits store, offering everything from locally sourced brews from Thomas Hooker, Shebeen, Cambridge House and Southport Brewing to award-winning wines and spirits.

Balducci’s will be making a monetary contribution to provide more than 400 meals to those in need for the upcoming holidays in December. Balducci’s also will match every dollar that customers donate to Check-Out Hunger at Balducci’s in Greenwich through Dec. 31, up to $1,000.
