Barbara A. Carbino, 72; Chief Clerk of Greenwich Probate Court

Barbara A. Carbino, 72, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 2, 2015.

She was born to Salvatore and Josephine Chila on December 16, 1942 in Port Chester, NY.

Barbara was a lifelong Greenwich resident. She was the Chief Clerk of the Greenwich Probate Court working there for over 45 years. She was an active member of St. Mary’s Church in Greenwich, CT.

Barbara married Frank Carbino on July 16, 1966 in Greenwich. Frank predeceased her on December 19, 1992.

Barbara loved nothing more than cooking Sunday dinners and hosting family and friends at her home. She loved her family’s annual trip to Longboat Key, FL and spoiling her two granddaughters. Her greatest accomplishment of all was her love and devotion to her family.

Barbara is survived by her son Frank Carbino (Lynn), her daughter Cindi Carbino, her grandchildren Samantha and Ryan Carbino, and her sister Suzanne Konatich (Bob).

Visitation will be at Castiglione Funeral Home on Thursday February 5, 2015 from 3-8 pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church 178 Greenwich Avenue, Greenwich, Ct on Friday February 6, 2015 at 10 am. Interment will follow at Putnam Cemetery 35 Parsonage Rd. Greenwich, CT.
