Car Vandalism in Byram

Four cars belonging to the same family were splashed with paint — again.

A Byram family apparently has been targeted — for the second time — by vandals who used white paint to damage four cars parked in the driveway of the family’s home in the 100 block of Mead Avenue.

“It was a 2003 Chrysler, a 2010 Cadillac, a 1999 Jeep and a 2011 Lexus — all four cars belong to one family. White paint was splashed over the vehicles,” according to Greenwich Police spokesman Lt. Kraig Gray.

The incident was reported about 11:15 a.m. Dec. 20. “It happened on Halloween too and they thought that kids may have done it as a Halloween prank. Now they think otherwise. Police are investigating,” Gray said.
