Cpl. Kevin John Dempsey
of Greenwich was known as Jack by family and friends. Dempsey was prompted to enlist in the U.S. Marine Corps after seeing images of the Twin Towers going down on September 11, 2001. He was an animal lover and cared for a stray dog while stationed at Camp Lejeune. He will always be remembered as an American hero who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our nation.
