Drunk Driver Nabbed in Greenwich
According to police, the driver was 'very unsteady on her feet."

A driver was arrested on a drunk driving charge after Greenwich Police investigated a report of a possible driver casualty on the western end of town.
Police found the driver near the intersection of Ettl Lane and Sutro Place shortly before 9 p.m. Sept. 30, according to a police report.
The driver reportedly had the odor of alcoholic beverages, and was “lethargic, unfocused and very unsteady on her feet when exiting the vehicle and performing standardized field sobriety tests,” according to the report. Police also found that the driver’s vehicle registration had expired Dec. 29, 2012.

Blaine Lynn Wilkes, 42, who gave an address of 68 Newtown Ave., Norwalk, was charged with operating an unregistered motor vehicle and driving while intoxicated. She was released after posting a $250 bond and scheduled to appear Oct. 8 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
