The state medical licensing board reportedly denied hearing Clifford Berken's request to allow him to resume practicing medicine.

The Connecticut Medical Licensing Board has denied a gastroenterologist who had a practice in Greenwich and is a registered sex offender a hearing on the physician’s request that his medical license be reinstated.

Clifford Berken, who was convicted in New York State on a charge of first-degree charge of attempting to disseminate indecent material to a minor in 2010, was denied the hearing on Tuesday, according to Greenwich Time.
