Firefighters Respond To Reported Blaze In Greenwich: FD

Firefighters initially said they were responding to a reported house fire but later clarified the incident was a "tractor fire."

GREENWICH, CT — Firefighters responded to a report of a house fire Friday afternoon in the area of Hoover Road. An alert was sent out on Twitter by the Greenwich Professional Firefighters Local 1042 around 3:30 p.m.

Though firefighters initially said they were responding to a reported house fire, they later clarified the incident was a "tractor fire" with that slightly extended to the home. They also said the fire had been "knocked down."
