Following Crash, Greenwich Man Faces DUI Charge
Greenwich Police say the driver hit 2 parked cars.

A 63-year-old town resident is facing a driving under the influence charge after he allegedly struck two cars parked on Hamilton Avenue.
The driver is accused of having a strong odor of alcoholic beverage, red, glassy eyes, mumbled speech and was unsteady on his feet following the accident that occurred shortly before 6 p.m. on Oct. 10, according to a Greenwich Police report.
The mirrors of two parked cars were damaged in the incident, according to the report.

Jose B. Decarvalho, of 67 Strickland Rd., Cos Cob, could not perform field sobriety tests and also refused to take a breathe test, according to the report.
In addition to the DUI char gem, Decarvalho also was cited for improper passing. He was released on $500 bond and scheduled to appear Oct. 19 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
