Greek Textile Company to Open First U.S. Store in Greenwich
Togas House of Textiles will open its store soon in Greenwich

GREENWICH, CT—Togas House of Textiles will open a store on East Putnam Avenue in the previous storefront occupied by Fontana Bridal.
The company sells luxury home textiles including bathrobes, towels and sheets, according to Greenwich Time.
There are stores in Armenia, Greece, Kazahkstan, Russia and the United Arab Emirates, according to the store's website.

Founder Ilias Togas moved to Athens and opened a shop in 1926. He specialized in Greek Army officer uniforms and gained wide notability throughout the country. Togas married Katerina Schik who was the heir to a Austrian textile-manufacturing company.
The company employs more than 1,750 people and operates 120 boutiques and 57 bespoke couture interior boutiques.
