Greenwich Businessman Receives '40 Under 40' Award
James Parker received The Fairfield County Business Journal award for his professional and volunteer efforts in the Greenwich community.

James N. Parker, a founding partner of The Gellmann and Parker Wealth Management Group of Wells Fargo Advisors, LLC, recently received the The Fairfield County Business Journal award of ”40 Under 40.”
The Fairfield County Business Journal “40 Under 40” award recognizes 40 of the best, brightest and most promising business people in Fairfield County who are under the age of 40 and demonstrate leadership in their industry, community involvement, and evidence of growth that sets the particular candidate apart from others in their business/industry.
Parker is an associate vice president, chartered Retirement Planning Counselor, and a Fundamental Choice Portfolio Manager with Wells Fargo Advisors, LLC in Old Greenwich. His team develops customized strategies to assist their clients in meeting their financial goals.

Parker grew up in Greenwich and is active in the local community. He is the founder and chairman emeritus of the Greenwich YPG, a nonprofit networking organization for young business professionals that organizes networking events, educational seminars and local charity work. Since forming the Greenwich YPG, the group has volunteered for Kids in Crisis, DOMUS, the Greenwich Land Trust and the Greenwich Tree Conservancy. Parker also served as Chairman of the Health and Wellness Expos for the Greenwich YPG for three years. He also serves on the Board of The Greenwich Riding and Trails Association (GRTA).
Parker also volunteers for the Wildlife Conservation Society, World Health Clinicians, Inc., Beat AIDS Project Zimbabwe, Kids in Crisis, DOMUS, The Greenwich Land Trust, The Greenwich Tree Conservancy, and The Greenwich Riding and Trails Association.
