Greenwich Parent Ejected From Sidelines of Girls' Soccer Game in Fairfield
Some Greenwich parents, fans allegedly screamed profanities when they disagreed with a call during the Greenwich HS-Fairfield Warde game.

A Greenwich parent was removed from the sidelines and not allowed to return during Wednesday night’s girls’ soccer game between Greenwich High School and Fairfield Warde in Fairfield, according to the Fairfield Citizen.
The Citizen reports that Fairfield Warde Athletic Director Seth Fry notified police after he said some Greenwich parents and fans began screaming profanities when they didn’t agree with a referee’s call.

The unidentified parent was ejected and later apologized for using the foul language. He told police that he “got caught up in the moment,” according to the Citizen.
The game ended in a 1-1 tie.
