Greenwich Police Accepting Applications for Women's, Teen Self-Defense Classes
The two five-week courses are designed for high school juniors and seniors, and for women age 18 to 55.

The Greenwich Police Department is accepting applications for two its popular Women’s Self-Defense Class programs.m
The 2015 Spring Women’s Self Defense Class is a five-week program open to women between 18 and 55 years of age. The class meets twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday from 7:45 to 9:15 p.m. This time slot is limited to 25 students.
The class begins on March 17, with graduation tentatively scheduled for April 16.

Also, the Greenwich Police Department is accepting applications for the 2015 Spring Young Women’s Self Defense Class. The five-week program is ONLY open to female applicants who are Greenwich high school students (public school or private school) in the 11th or 12th grade. The class meets twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. This time slot is limited to 25 students.
The Women’s Self–Defense Class enables Participants to learn proven techniques that will both bolster their confidence in self-defense situations and overcome physical /psychological situations.

Applications are available here. Completed applications along with a photocopy of identification may be returned to the front desk at Police Headquarters to the attention of the Community Impact Office.
Program instructors are highly-trained and experienced Greenwich Police Officers.
