Greenwich Police Arrest Man on Heroin Possession Charge
Police say the suspect had a quantity of heroin and pot when he was arrested.

A man is facing narcotics and marijuana possession charges after Greenwich Police say they found him with the suspected drugs.
Naeem O. Jefferson, 31, of Sylvan Avenue in Bridgeport, was arrested at 10:42 p.m. Jan. 13 on West Putnam Avenue, according to a police report.
Police say they received information that Jefferson had heroin and marijuana that was “corroborated by visual surveillance conducted by the Greenwich Police Narcotics Section,” according to the report.

Police say they found heroin in Jefferson’s possession and additional fold and a baggie containing marijuana in his car, according to the report.
Jefferson was charged with possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell and possession of marijuana under a half-ounce. He was released on a promise to appear Jan. 20 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
