UPDATE: Greenwich Public, Private Schools Announces Schedule for Friday Classes
There will be a delay for the start of classes in Greenwich Public Schools and some private schools on Friday.

Updated: 11:10 p.m.:
Greenwich Academy an dBrunswick School also will open with a two-hour delay.
And Stanwich School announced the school will be closed Friday. The school announced, “ Lower school conferences are cancelled and need to be rescheduled for next week by emailing homeroom teachers. Upper School students have digital assignments that will be posted by 10 a.m.”

Whitby School announced Thursday night: “Whitby School will have a 2 hour delayed start on Friday 6th March. The school will open at 10am to ensure your safe passage from home to school, as there is concern for the road conditions during the morning commute. Please review the email sent from school related to an extended schedule for Stepping Stones through Grade 4 children. Grade 5 through 8 will end school at the normal time of 4pm following their electives.”
Greenwich Catholic School also will open two hours late with classes starting at 10:30 a.m.

An email announcement from Whitby School that “will be opening at 10 a.m. Friday morning.”

There’s another chance to sleep in for Greenwich students on Friday.
Greenwich Public Schools announced Thursday night that there will be “a two-hour delayed opening tomorrow, Friday, March 6, in order to provide time for storm clean up to ensure safe passage for buses, and for students walking to school and bus stops.”
