Greenwich Resident, Son Start Italian Wine and Food Importing Business

GREENWICH, CT—Greenwich and other nearby residents can experience the foods and fine wines direct from 20 different regions in Italy.

Greenwich resident Fiore Screnci and son Michael Screnci have started importing business Aromi Wine and Food.

The Screnci family comes from small south Italian town Santa Caterina Dello Jonio.

The concept started a few years ago and hit the ground in January when the father son duo launched their website AromiWineandFood.com, Michael Screnci said.

The two made connections at Fancy Food conferences in Manhattan and Washington, D.C.

“From years of cultivating these relationships with distributors, it really allowed us to learn how they import their products,” Screnci said.

Food and wine is available from regions including both the mainland and islands such as Sicily and Sardinia.
All of its offerings are hand-selected and tested. The company provides Italian recipes and is also able to provide customers with choices for special events.
