Greenwich Stars Basketball to Hold Tryouts
The teams are for boys and girls in grades 2 through 8.
The Greenwich Stars “travel” Basketball tryouts will be held this week — on Sept. 16 through Sept. 18 at Carmel Academy, 270 Lake Ave. in Greenwich.
The tryouts — for boys and girls in grades 2 through 8 — are free. No RSVP is needed.
Play is from November through March and professional coaches lead the teams. Last winter, Greenwich Stars teams won three league championships. Boys and girls from 35 towns in New York and Connecticut play in the Greenwich Stars Basketball programs.

2nd GRADE BOYS: Sept. 16: 5 p.m. - 6:15 p.m.

3rd/4th GRADE BOYS: Sept. 16, 17: 6:15 p.m. - 7:15 p.m.
5th/6th GRADE BOYS: Sept. 16, 17: 7:15 p.m. - 8:45 p.m.
7th/8th GRADE BOYS: Sept. 18: 7:30 p.m. - 8:55 p.m.
5th/6th GRADE GIRLS: Sept. 18: 5 p.m. - 6:15 p.m.
7th/8th GRADE GIRLS: Sept. 18: 6:15 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
