Greenwich Tree Conservancy Holds 'Awesome Tree' Contest
Grab your cameras and capture Mother Nature's autumnal glory for the conservancy's annual photo contest.
From the Greenwich Tree Conservancy.
In the coming weeks, before the leaves start to fall, look around you and appreciate the abundant trees of our town. Whether on private or public property, we in Greenwich are so fortunate to live here surrounded by Mother Nature’s gifts. So, if you like to photograph trees, as many of us do, then take your smartphone or digital camera outside and click away.
This year the contest features four different categories of trees: the best photo of a sculptural form, the best photo of photogenic leaves or a leaf, the best photo of a heroic tree (one that has survived storms, infestations, etc) and also your favorite tale-inspired tree.
