Home Green Advantage Supports Children's Charity at Greenwich WINE + FOOD Festival

Home Green Advantage lent their support to charitable organization The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp.

Home Green Advantage lent their support to charitable organization The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp recently at the fourth annual Greenwich WINE + FOOD Festival. The company set up a 27-foot golf green for a putting contest in which all proceeds would benefit the charity.

Home Green Advantage gathered with dozens of other sponsors and thousands of local foodies at Roger Sherman Baldwin Park to enjoy three days of food, drink and fun. The festival included live demonstrations, competitions, performances from local musicians and interviews with celebrity guests. The putting green Home Green Advantage provided was by the harbor. Festival-goers could test their skill by attempting to hit a hole in one to receive a prize supplied by The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp. Each putter was given three golf balls for a five dollar donation.

The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp is a nonprofit organization founded by Paul Newman in 1988 that allows children with severe medical conditions to experience the spirit, camaraderie, and personal growth opportunity that camp offers. The Camp serves more than 30,000 children and their families in the Northeast each year, and all services are provided free of charge. The Greenwich WINE + FOOD Festival brought together 175 local vendors for a celebration to the benefit of this great charity and Home Green Advantage founder Michael Lehrer was pleased to be a part of the action.
