Programs for both adults and children.

The Garden Education Center of Greenwich has a series of garden and outdoor-related activities planned for adults and children throughout the month at its facilities, 133 Bible St. in Cos Cob.

Wednesdays, January 14 – March 25, 9:00 – 10:00 am 10 Sessions

Though we have all put our gardens to bed for the winter, we should keep our muscles and joints limber. Join Kim Bass as she teaches us the principles and practices of Hatha Yoga. This branch of yoga concentrates on physical health and mental well‐being, using bodily postures, breathing techniques, and meditation. Hatha yoga postures also stretch and align the body, promoting balance and flexibility. A great class for beginners, or for those of us that just want to be flexible in the garden this spring. Bring a friend and enjoy the fun!

Now this regenerative growing method and living systems design is making a comeback, and just in time to help the world address problems of water conservation, soil depletion, and rising costs of living. Learn about Permaculture Systems from Helen Loughrey, a certified Permaculture Design Course instructor and design consultant.
