Letter: Bocchino Has 'Greenwich Value of Living Within Your Means'

With the Connecticut Statehouse and legislature controlled by Democrats, the state’s economy has crumbled. Last year, the state’s economic growth rate was half the national average, ranking us 39th in the country. Connecticut is the only state in the U.S. to lose jobs over a 10-year period and has the most debt per capita. Connecticut was recently voted the third worst state for retirees. Many of our residents and businesses are fleeing the state because of its excessive taxes and poor business climate.

Mike Bocchino, the Republican candidate for Connecticut’s 150th District, has pledged to address the state’s economic crisis as his number one priority. He is committed to reducing spending, cutting taxes, and making the state a better place to do business. As a lifelong Greenwich resident and active community leader, he will bring to Hartford the Greenwich value of living within your means. Finally, he’ll work effectively with our outstanding Hartford delegation, consisting of Scott Frantz, Livvy Floren, and Fred Camillo.
