Letter: Stanwich School Thanks Those Involved With Recent STEM Expo

Our sincere gratitude to our educational partners and our exceptional faculty for making STEM Expo such a wonderful community success.

On behalf of the entire Stanwich School community, I wish to express our sincere gratitude to our educational partners as well as our exceptional faculty for making our recent STEM Expo such a wonderful community success. We welcomed more than 150 students to a 1-day expo highlighting the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.

Above and beyond the scores of student and parent volunteers, we were blessed with generous sponsors and participating presenters who dedicated their time and talents to teach forward-thinking workshops. Stanwich is particularly grateful for Zaniac, Summer Institute for the Gifted, Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk, MakerBot, Little Scholars, The Institute for Personal Leadership, The First Bank of Greenwich, Chinese Language School of Greenwich, Chelsea Piers Connecticut, and the Audubon of Greenwich.

We would also like to thank Alan Abrams, Jamie Barone, Bob DeAngelo, James Flynn, Dr. Penny Vlahos, Emma Whitman, and Pat Young for sharing their expertise as special presenters and instructors with our student and parent attendees.

Additionally, our deepest appreciation is given to Connecticut Catering, Olympic Construction, Michael F. Ross Painting, SLAM Collaborative, and Turner Construction for their generous sponsored support of the event. Their civic-mindedness and service to others serve as fine examples to all of us.

Our sincere thanks to each organization for helping the learners at STEM Expo be the best they can be!
