Letter: Step Up to Join Greenwich RTM District 9 Committee

There are four vacancies for representatives in the district.

Submitted by District 9 Chairperson Betsey Frumin.

RTM District 9 has four openings. We will be filling these openings at our District meeting on Thursday, September 11th, 7:30 at the Bendheim Western Greenwich Civic Center.

The RTM (Representative Town Meeting) is Greenwich’s legislative body. We have 230 members from the 12 Districts into which Greenwich is divided. In order to serve on the RTM you must be a registered voter from the District. District 9 encompasses most of south eastern Greenwich running from the Post Road in the south to the end of Bailiwick in the north. The western side of Weaver Street and the western side of Riversville Road are the eastern boundaries. The State line and the Merritt are the western boundaries. We cover Glenville, Bailiwick, West Lyon’s Farm, Pemberwick and everything in between.
