Lyme Research Alliance Raises $65K at 3rd Annual Golf Tourney

Fifty-three golfers came out in for a fun day of golf and camaraderie.

Lyme Research Alliance, the leading nonprofit funder of cutting-edge Lyme disease research in the U.S., recently hosted its third annual charity Golf Tournament at the Stanwich Club in Greenwich and raised $65,000, bringing the three-year total for this event to $235,000.

Fifty-three golfers came out in glorious fall weather for a fun day of golf and camaraderie, including 18-holes of golf, lunch, a cocktail reception sponsored by Greenwich Hospital with Stella Artois as beverage sponsor, a silent auction and awards ceremony.

“We want to thank everyone who made this such a wonderful event,” Peter Wild, LRA’s executive director said in a statement. “Our golf committee brought together a sterling group of golfers to support our cause, we raised important money, and we appreciate the continued support of Pepe Infiniti of White Plains who donated the hole-in-one car.”
