Mary Ann Bria, 89; R.T. Vanderbilt Co. Retiree; Greenwich Resident Who Enjoyed Cooking
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, March 17 with the funeral scheduled for Wednesday, March 18.

Mary Ann Bria passed away on Friday, March 13, 2015 at the Greenwich Hospital.
She was born on December 25, 1925 in Vallelonga Italy to the late Raphael Fera and Annunziata Maneli Fera. She immigrated to New York in 1938 and later moved to Greenwich where she resided till her passing.

Mary Ann was a loving mother and grandmother who always put her family and friends first. She enjoyed cooking for everyone and was often called upon to supplement the catering at family functions and events. In the sixties she worked as a nurse’s aid at the Greenwich Hospital. She later worked for, and retired from, R.T. Vanderbilt Company, Inc. where she was employed for twenty-five years as a domestic housekeeper.
Her memory will remain in the hearts of her sons John J. Bria Jr. (Peggy) of Flagler Beach FL, and Rick Bria (Phyllis) of Greenwich, CT. Besides her children she is survived by three grandchildren, Nicholas Bria, Daniel Bria, and Mark Bria as well as two sisters Antoinette Ganim and Rosina Perna. In addition to her parents, Mary Ann was predeceased by her loving husband John J. Bria Sr. and her grandson John J. Bria III.

Visitation will be held at Castiglione Funeral Home, 134 Hamilton Ave Greenwich CT. on Tuesday March 17, 2015 from 4 to 8 pm. A funeral mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church, 95 Henry St. Greenwich, CT on Wednesday March 18, 2015 at 10 am. Entombment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 399 North St. Greenwich, CT.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made in Mary Ann’s memory to the Nathaniel Witherell, 70 Parsonage Road, Greenwich CT 06830.
