Open House at Whitby School

Located on Lake Avenue in Greenwich, Whitby School welcomes the community to visit and tour campus during an upcoming Open House on Sunday, January 11 beginning at 1:00pm. Attendees will have the opportunity to take the journey through Whitby’s compelling continuum of inquiry-based learning from 18 months through Grade 8.
The school’s innovative blend of Montessori (early years) and International Baccalaureate (IB) throughout the continuum equips students with the skills needed to successfully thrive in today’s dynamic world.
Whitby’s academically challenging curriculum emphasizes critical and reflective thinking, with a 5:1 student-to-faculty ratio and a 1:1 laptop ratio beginning in Grade 3 that allows from individualization to maximize learning. Teachers focus on whole school development through transdisciplinary curriculums that span the arts, electives, athletics, community service and advisory programs.
