Sneakers, Booze, Groceries -- That's What a Nanny Is Accused to Buying with Employer's Credit Card
The suspect is accused of setting up an account in her employer's name when she was hired to look after his two children.

A woman hired as a many for a Round Hill Road family has been arrested for setting up a credit card account and going on a shopping spree.
Greenwich Police say that Shyniqua L. Mcclintock, 23, of 7 Armstrong Ct., was hired by the family about six months before they reported in May 2014 that a fraudulent credit account was established and used to make several purchases, according to a Greenwich Police report.
Mcclintock is accused to establishing a Discover card account in the name of one of her employers who hired in the fall of 2013. Mcclintock was hired to help care for the two sons of the couple who lived on Round Hill Road and in May 2014, the husband made his report to police.

According to police spokesman Lt. Kraig Gray, Mcclintock is accused of creating the account “She used the card in a liquor store in Stamford, a grocery store in Stamford, a sneaker store in the Bronx (NY), and several pharmacies, all in the Bronx.”
Mcclintock was arrested Dec. 6 by officers who obtained an arrest warrant charging her with one count each of fourth-degree larceny, false statement, third-degree identity theft, criminal impersonation and second-degree forgery; three counts of sixth-degree larceny and eight counts each of illegal use of a credit card and receiving goods illegally.

Mccclintock was released after posting a $25,000 bond and is scheduled to appear Dec. 12, in state Superior Court in Stamford.
