The Off Sounders To Host 6th Annual College Concert

The Greenwich men's a cappella group will host two singing groups from Trinity College on Nov. 7.

The Off Sounders, Greenwich’s men’s a cappella group, will host their sixth annual college concert on Friday Nov. 7, at 7:30 p.m. at the Belle Haven Club in Greenwich. This year the concert will feature two groups from Trinity College, the Pipes and the Accidentals.

The Off Sounders are a men’s a cappella singing group that has been performing in the Greenwich area since 1956. Previous college concerts featured the ConnChords and CoCo Beaux of Connecticut College, Ephlat and Octet of Williams College, Stuck in the Middle and the Mischords of Middlebury College, the Buffers and Tumbling After of Hamilton College, the Colgate Thirteen and Swinging Gates of Colgate University and the Accidentals of Trinity College.

This year’s concert is the second featuring groups from Trinity College. The Accidentals performed in the Off Sounders first college concert in 2007. The Pipes performed at Spring Sing, the annual singing convention of the American A Capella Alliance, which the Off Sounders hosted at Mystic Seaport in 2012.
