Special Health Needs Is Topic of Next Abilis Workshop
The workshop is designed for family and caregivers of the disabled and will cover transitioning into adulthood for those with special needs.

Abilis Adult Services Committee Workshops for parents raising children who will need supports and services beyond high school has announced it next workshop.
Workshop IV, scheduled for Feb. 4 will cover “Considering special health needs along the lifespan — Focus on medication therapy.’
Topics to be discussed by two health expertsEllen Carroll, PhD., RN, CPNP, Abilis Health Services Director and Diane Corba, RPh, Clinical Pharmacist, Connecticut Pharmacy, will include “How will the body change? How will medications effect health? How to maintain health and wellness?”

Parents, caregivers, and anyone interested is welcome to attend the Feb. 4, that will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Cone Room of Greenwich Town Hall, 101 Field Point Rd., Greenwich.
