Legions of Greenwich High and Western Junior High School grads from the 1960s, ‘70s and ‘80s fondly remember the weekly ‘Creole Spaghetti’ days.
Every Thursday, lunch was a tasty helping of spaghetti topped with a meaty sauce and cheese.
Relive your culinary youth or if you’re not a townie, experience what town natives enjoyed at St. Paul Lutheran Church’s annual creole spaghetti dinner this weekend.

The folks at St. Paul’s say, “We have the original recipe, and we’re serving it up Saturday, January 31.”
Join the cooks at St. Paul Lutheran Church this Saturday, Jan. 31 from 4 to 7 p.m. for a Spaghetti Creole Supper. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children and include salad, generous serving of spaghetti creole, dessert, iced tea and coffee.

‘To-go’ orders are available by calling 203-253-2327, which includes a choice of a full dinner, or $5 for a 7-inch round to-go container of Spaghetti Creole.
